Hook & Ring
Hook & Ring – PlayBook’d
The classic game of Hook & Ring is now a book!
Think you've got the speed, skill, and coordination to beat your opponent? Hook & Ring is a fast-paced dexterity game where players race to swing their ring onto the hook and move the pawn toward their opponent's side.
And for a little extra fun, you can play with the included pawn or swap it out for a shot glass for a grown-up version of the game!
📖 Disguised as a Book
When you're not playing, Hook & Ring looks just like a book sitting on your bookshelf or coffee table.
Open it up, transform the book into the game, and you're ready to play!
🧩 Easy to Set Up
Deploying the game is simple:
Open the book and stand it upright on the covers.
The scoring plank automatically drops into position.
Move the pawn to the center circle.
Pull up the collapsible tower until it locks into place.
Make sure the arms are aligned with the length of the book's spine.
Rotate the arms upward.
You're ready to play!
When the game is over, simply reverse the steps to fold everything back into the book.
🎯 How to Play
Start with the pawn in the center circle of the tray.
When both players are ready, count down:
3... 2... 1... GO!
Players race to swing their ring onto the hook.
Successfully hook your ring and you can move the pawn one circle toward your opponent.
But watch out! Your opponent can move the pawn one circle back toward you when they successfully hook their ring.
Keep playing, racing, and moving the pawn until one player reaches the final circle on their opponent's side.
Once the pawn "walks the plank" off the end, that player wins!
🧲 Easy Storage
When you're finished playing, everything folds neatly back into the book.
The magnetic covers help keep the game securely closed, so the pieces stay contained and ready for your next game.
Store it on your bookshelf, coffee table, or game shelf—it looks like a book when it's not in use!
🥃 Want to Make It More Interesting?
The included pawn is perfect for normal gameplay, but if you're playing with adults, you can replace the pawn with a shot glass for an optional party-game twist.
