The ForgeCore Chess Game is part of the PlayBook'd series, designed to capture the classic elegance of chess while giving it a unique, space-saving twist. This design went through multiple versions to create a chess set that looks great both on the shelf and on the table.

📖 Disguised as a Book

When you're not playing, the entire chess set looks like a book, making it easy to blend into your bookshelf or display. Open it up when you're ready to play and the book unfolds into a full chess board with all the pieces stored neatly inside.

🧲 Magnetic Chess Pieces

The chess pieces magnetize to the board, helping keep them securely in place during play. The pieces can also be stored inside the book, keeping everything together when the game is put away.

🔄 Magniflip Design

The chess pieces feature specially designed internal geometry that allows the magnets to flip orientation. This means the polarity of the magnets in the chess pieces doesn't matter, making assembly much easier. Some magnet polarity requirements still apply to the board, so be sure to follow the appropriate magnet placement instructions.

📚 Easy Storage

When the game is finished, simply fold everything back up and close the covers. Magnets hold the book securely closed while keeping the chess pieces safely stored inside.
