The classic crossword-style word game is now a book! Crossword PlayBook’d transforms from an ordinary-looking book into a complete word game for up to 4 players. Build words, earn points, and use special scoring spaces to beat your opponents.
Disguised as a Book
When you're not playing, this design looks like a regular book that can sit on your bookshelf or table. When you're ready to play, simply open it up and transform it into a crossword game board.
How to Transform
To set up the game, open the book and stand it up on its covers. Remove the magnetic tile racks from their storage area and dump out the tiles.
Each player can snap their tile rack onto one of the 4 designated spots on the board. Place the letter tiles face down between the covers, and you're ready to start playing!
Easy Storage
When the game is over, everything stores neatly inside the book. The covers are held together with magnets, helping keep the game pieces contained and making it easy to store anywhere.
How to Play
Gameplay is similar to traditional crossword-style spelling games. Players take turns creating words and scoring points based on the letters they use and the special spaces on the board.
Scoring Spaces:
3L – Triple Letter Score
2L – Double Letter Score
2W – Double Word Score
3W – Triple Word Score
